ARC stands for "Advanced Reader Copy"
ARC readers read and review an early copy of an author's book. ARC reviews are not paid, but you get the opportunity to read the book early with the agreement that you leave an honest review on (or before) the day it's published.
Why are ARC readers important?
- ARC reading is a great way to support your favorite authors and generate buzz around their newest book.
- Leaving a review can help an author successfully launch their book.
- Reviews provide "street credit" so others are more likely to purchase and read.
- ARC reviews can help boost the book's rank and increase sales on release day and after.
